The Arts Centre precinct lies within City Ward.

Five people have nominated for the single vacancy in City Ward and you may have already met them or received election material.  It is good to know that there is so much interest in representing our ward.

The five candidates are:

  • Claudia Green
  • Adin Lang
  • Roel Loopers
  • Julie Morgan
  • Linda Wayman

View candidate profiles

Before you vote, you will have the opportunity to meet the candidates, hear their views and ask them questions at a City Ward candidate forum on

Thursday September 28th from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM

The venue is the upstairs bar NATIONAL Hotel on the corner of High and Market St.

Dear Neighbours

I hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable time during the Christmas break.

To celebrate the start of 2017, we are holding a precinct party on Saturday January 7th from 5pm to 7pm.  As usual it will be held at the Tennis Club on Fremantle Park which you can enter via Parry St.  Please bring a plate of finger food to share and the bar will be open to buy drinks.  It’s a good opportunity to get to know your neighbours better, so please invite anyone in the precinct who may not receive this email.

Don and Laurie Apps, (President of the Tennis Club) will update you on progress with plans for building the new Fremantle Park Sport and Community Centre.

I hope you will be able to join us on January 7th and in the meantime I wish you a very happy new year.
